Here’s a game that I think most of us can play. Go on FB market place, find your Previously Viewed Vehicles, and find t he best and worst things there. So something you love and something you clicked on due to morbid curiosity. So here’s my best.
Sick little Mopar, listing says auto but it actually has a 4 on the floor. I have a soft spo t for these.
And the worst. This strange Bravada nosed, Sanoma, with Corvette tailights. And some classy wheels.
Bonus round: something cool from “other people also viewed” this Yellow 41 Dodge Power Wagon.

I still like the Duster for some odd reason. I vividly remember one owned by some friends of the family that must have been the totally poverty spec model - green on green, no carpeting, slant six and a three-speed manual. I wonder if it was one of those cars that didn’t have power brakes or steering, if you could equip it as such. When they bought 1st gen Mercury Lynx it seemed like a major step up.

Those taillight conversions are pretty popular on S10s, though I usually see them on second gen models.

YOU CAN GET A DUSTER WITH A 340 FOR THAT CHEAP!? I thought all the cheap classic muscle cars had disappeared...

That Power Wagon!
Marketplace (and knowing what my family is up to, but mainly Marketplace) makes me miss Facebook. Not nearly enough to actually re-enable my account, granted .
I only used FB for two years before giving up on it, but that was plenty.

work with a guy that had one of those banana yellow ones with the 340 for a while, jumped him in our garage once when the battery died. B ig mopar guy, he’s got some sort of Challenger in that neon lime color with the white interior now.

Dad had a poverty-spec slant 6 Duster
with baby moon hubcaps, and the 4-speed pistol grip shifter. He had a hookup at the salvage yard that got him leather seats out of a Cordoba, so it was like a living room inside (at least up front).
Was sad to see that go, but he replaced it with a MGB, so it worked out ok.

I have managed to wash my feed of all the BS. Anyone who posts a lot of politics, even if I agree with you, gets unsubscribed from. Facebook for me is all car stuff and pics of friend's kids.

You can do what I do, highly curate who appears on your FB. My block list is almost as long as my friend list. There’s just so much whining, drama, lack of logic, and toxicity all over the platform. Even our Facebook sibling (Oppositetalk) has devolved into a clone of every other Facebook “car enthusiast” group.
But Marketplace is an awesome tool and there are still a few really cool groups out there.
